Membership
There are two kinds of memberships, Financial-Support and
Time-Contributing --
and the Society is greatly in need of both!
Financial-Support Membership:
In order for the Society to
eventually build a much needed shelter for
homeless and unwanted animals, it is vital that we obtain
financial resources. One of the Society's approaches to this is from
caring people like you who are interested in becoming Financial-Support
Members. If you care to help in this way, please become a member
and join us in helping those who cannot help themselves!
Please make check payable to Holmes County Humane Society.
You will receive a membership card and a "tax-deductible" receipt
with your donation.
Time-Contributing Membership:
As the old saying goes, "Many hands make light work." The Holmes
County Humane Society has no paid personnel -- all Society
activities are performed by volunteers who are interested in rescuing
and finding good homes for pet animals, especially dogs and cats.
To do all the things necessary to accomplish this goal, the Society
is also seeking volunteer members who can
contribute a minimum of 6 hours per month to help with the many
activities of the Society, including organizing foster-care for
homeless and abandoned pets, keeping the Society's Web site data
up to date,
fund raising, coordination with area Veterinarians, and more.
If you can afford 6 hours per month to help, please contact us
at the number listed on the left, or click on our Email and send us
a note and we'll contact you.
Thank you in advance for your support!
